1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
As far as she knows, she doesn’t really know who her real parents are, so John is her adoptive one. My idea is that she got abandoned as a baby somewhere and John took her in because, 1) he has a soft spot for babies, and 2) he wanted to be a hero. She doesn’t really have a mom, though, whether John ends up with Virska or Karkat or Rose or anyone else, she will love whoever her mom will be, because she loves John.
Casey is about in the middle when it comes to being spoiled or neglected. John isn’t around much though, so I’m going to say it leans more on the neglected part since he’s always out adventuring. But, whenever he gets home, he watches her favorite shows with her, even if some nights she says to him, “You’re too old to be watching these shows with me.” And then he contradicts her with the same statement. She gets along well with her father whenever he is home. They play pranks on each other a lot, and though sometimes she gets punished for doing mean pranks, they get along fine.
2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
My character’s most prominent physical features.. Is it her bright blonde hair? The way she gives you a blink with her bright, blue eyes? Or maybe it’s her arms that grip her arm every time she speaks to a new person.
There are so many ways to describe someone physically. Maybe it’s her soft, sweet lips dabbled with a thin layer of shiny lip gloss, or her waist, thin and curved, proportionate even. I can’t pinpoint just one physical feature, so is it alright if I just describe her in a paragraph? Her bouncy, blonde hair, almost short enough to be a boy’s, her sparkling, strong-willed eyes, her rosy, blushing cheeks that show embarrassment off like it’s just another easy going attribute that she’s always had. She straightens out her dress, flustered, and requests that I quit this nonsense at once, but this is only the beginning.
3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?
She doesn’t have any, at least not that I can name off the top of my head. She’s known for being a ditsy person, sure, but not to the point of scaring herself.
She doesn’t have any scars because she hasn’t gotten into any fights.. yet. I’m sure everyone has their own peeves, and I’d actually like to try a battle scene one day with her, like a little fight or something, you know? Or even murder. Ha!
I think she would be scared to fight someone though. Heh.
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
This is actually a tough subject. I’m not really sure about how she feels about herself. I mean, EVERYONE calls her cute, but she has that teenage mind that says, “No, I’m not.” And even when she does accept that she’s cute, she wishes she wasn’t just cute, but beautiful.
She isn’t really vain at all, though she does keep an eye on her own image and makes sure she is presentable when she goes somewhere. She respects herself to feel attractive enough most of the time.
5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the KINSEY SCALE?
I’m pretty sure that she’s a 0. I mean, her Matesprit is a male, and I’m pretty sure she’s about to have sex with him. Pffhahaha.
As far as that scale goes, she leans between 0 and 0.5. She’s curious, but not to the point of acting on it, at least not too much. Maybe make-outs, but nothing more???
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
Casey’s happiest memory is probably her most recent one, meeting Gamzee. Unless you want to go back to when John brought her into his house and let her stay there. I’m pretty sure she automatically became super happy when that silly Gamzee came around.
She likes a lot of her memories. She doesn’t remember when she was younger very well though, she seems to forget long gone things easily.
7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
Not any in particular. Maybe a few embarrassing moments here and there, but nothing major. She seems to live with the, “No regrets” idea in her head.
8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
Ice Cream Flavor: Chocolate.
Color: Blue or Yellow.
Song: PON PON PON
Flower: Daisy
9.) Who does your character trust?
She trusts everyone, even if they seem bad. They all come off as good people to her. Well.. except for Jack Noir. She holds a grudge against him for no reason in particular.
